Angle Duel privacy policy

Angle Duel is developed by Jan Studeny. The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, custom account system, third-party SDKs, or developer-operated game server. It uses Apple frameworks for interface, motion sensing, hinge input, and optional Game Center features.

Motion and hinge readings

Device motion and available hinge angles are processed on your device to capture game angles and detect reset positions. Raw motion streams are not sent to the developer. Sensors stop when the app becomes inactive. The app does not use the camera, microphone, contacts, location, or photo library.

Local storage

Preferences, Daily Five best and last results, and local UTC-day ranked-attempt flags use UserDefaults on your device. Gameplay state such as current targets and duel readings is held in memory. Device backup behavior is controlled by iOS and your settings. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to backups. There is no developer-hosted history or recovery service.

Optional Game Center

Apple Game Center handles player authentication, leaderboard display, and ranked score submissions under Apple’s privacy terms. A ranked Daily Five run sends the total angle-error score through GameKit under your Game Center player identity. The app may display your rank. Raw sensor streams are not submitted. You can play local Duel and Practice without Game Center; leaderboard use requires an Apple Game Center account and network access.

Local daily-attempt flags are not tamper-proof. The app does not claim anti-cheat verification or upload sensor evidence.

These pages use GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security under the GitHub Privacy Statement. The site adds no analytics, ads, cookies, external scripts, or fonts. If you email support, your email address and message are used to answer your inquiry. Avoid unnecessary personal information.
